Iran and Niger signed bilateral Cooperation Agreements in Tehran

Iran expressed its readiness to assist Niger in overcoming sanctions, Iran’s first Vice-President Mohammad Mokhber said during a meeting with Niger’s Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine.Senior government officials from Iran and Niger signed several agreements to deepen bilateral cooperation in banking, political matters, trade, and the economy, as well as in health, culture, and education.

Iran expressed its readiness to assist Niger in overcoming sanctions, Iran’s first Vice-President Mohammad Mokhber said during a meeting with Niger’s Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine. Senior government officials from Iran and Niger signed several agreements to deepen bilateral cooperation in banking, political matters, trade, and the economy, as well as in health, culture, and education. The signing took place during the recent visit by Niger’s Prime Minister Ali Mahamane Lamine Zeine to Tehran, where he was received by Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber.

Mokhber stated during the joint press conference with Zeine that the two countries had formed and held two meetings of a cooperation commission, with the next session expected soon.

The Iranian official added that fruitful discussions were held on developing trade and economic relations, and the parties prepared and signed beneficial cooperation documents.

Both countries have prepared agreements on cooperation in technical and engineering services, construction of housing, and automobile exports.
