- The hiving off of Financial Services will help the Investment One Group to refocus its investment management and investment banking services to its wealth management and corporate customers
- This will also help the Group to focus and expand its retail customers base to take advantage of the network and service platforms of GTCO in the management of their mutual funds
Investment One Financial Services Limited (Investment One), a leading financial services group in Nigeria, has sold its subsidiaries- Investment One Funds Management Limited and Investment One Pension Managers Limited- to Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc.
The hiving off of Financial Services will help the Investment One Group to refocus its investment management and investment banking services to its wealth management and corporate customers. This will also help the Group to focus and expand its retail customers base to take advantage of the network and service platforms of GTCO in the management of their mutual funds.
The Group expects the transition to be seamless considering the cultural and operational similarities between the group and their former parent company now represented by GTCO.Group. CEO of Investment One, Mr. Nicholas Nyamali, said that the Group could be instrumental to GTBank’s strategy to adopt a holding company’s structure while offering the mutual funds and pension customers a more extensive service platform.
