Riding on the back of increasing demands from households and commercial establishments, the local interior industry has grown appreciably in recent years. What makes the industry tick is; people are going for environment-friendly and sustainable designs and architecture.

Designers are working on simple but creative patterns, which are minimalist but appealing to people and businesses. The designers are focussing on simple designs and building into them creative but simple art forms, characteristics of a minimalist art form. Prevalent also is a biophilic design concept. By incorporating natural elements into the design of households is a growing trend that focuses on incorporating natural elements into interior design, such as plants and natural materials, to give a different ambiance to residential houses. Health factor also is high up in the design element to make the residential houses more airy set to the best practices followed. The industrial design is also equally simple and minimalist to give a raw and unfinished look. Raw materials used to achieve that look include concrete, brick, and metal. Also, in vogue usage of contrasting colours in interior design to create a dramatic effect.
