Marking its fifth anniversary, fashion e-commerce platform Industrie Africa has expanded into the B2B space with the launch of Select, a retail consultancy tailored for luxury hospitality. The initiative debuts in partnership with SoLA, a boutique on Zanzibar’s Bawe Island, aligning fashion with immersive travel experiences.
Select integrates African fashion into high-end resorts, moving beyond traditional e-commerce to offer culturally rich, site-specific retail strategies. The launch includes a capsule collection by Senegalese brand Tongoro, available both on-site and online.
Founder Nisha Kanabar explains that Select aims to deepen the connection between designers and travelers by embedding storytelling and craftsmanship into curated environments. The Bawe Island resort—recently awarded “Best Hospitality Newcomer Worldwide 2025”—is the first of several planned collaborations, including projects in the Serengeti.
