India to participate in a big way in Tanzania’s DITF

Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) has said India confirmed that some 27 companies will take part in this year’s 47th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) late this month to be held between 28th June and 13th July 2023.

Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) has said India confirmed that some 27 companies will take part in this year’s 47th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) late this month to be held between 28th June and 13th July 2023The companies will be represented by a delegation of 50 people who will also host an India Day during the DITF. Sabasaba Fair is the biggest fair in the country.

India will showcase various products including pharmaceuticals, cotton, avocado, and leather. Algeria also confirmed that four companies will take part in the DITF exhibition. Other countries confirmed to participate are Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya, Iran, Türkiye, the United Arabs Emirates (UAE), Pakistan, and Syria plus China, South Korea, Singapore, Japan, and Indonesia.

Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) is also prevailing on Indian companies to invest in the country. The Indian companies are showing interest in investing in areas like cotton, leather, pharmaceuticals, avocado, and hemp.
