Addressing the nation recently Akufo Addo acknowledged that the bailout would not immediately restore the ailing economy. But he agreed that it would have a symbolic effect to put the country back on track. Akufo-Addo said that the IMF deal would help to restore confidence in the Ghanaian economy.
