Spencer Fowers, principal engineer with the Microsoft 3D telemedicine project, hopes the trial that is taking place in Ghana can show the feasibility of 3D telemedicine.  If somebody is in a remote part of a country where he or she doesn’t have access to these specialised services but needs them, the referring doctor could use this telemedicine thing to get access to the best of care
