Founding Chief Executive Officer, Director & Managing Director of Investrust Bank Plc, Zambia Mr. Friday C. Ndhlovu died. He worked as CEO, director and managing director of Investrust Bank Plc from 1995 to 2015. Ndhlovu also worked as managing director of Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (ZANACO) in 1992.
His demise was announced by Investrust Bank plc head corporate affairs and marketing Maria Kalima. He has been unwell for some time and was no longer with Investrust at the time of his death.
Investrust Bank plc was founded in 1996, registering as a corporate entity. In the beginning, the institution was privately held, That time it was known as Investrust Merchant Bank Zambia Limited. In 2002, the bank’s name was changed to Investrust Bank Limited. During 2004, the bank’s stock was provisionally listed on the Lusaka Stock Exchange (LUSE) for the first time and got fully listed in 2007. Investrust Bank now is a public company whose shares are publicly traded on the Lusaka Stock Exchange.
