The Food Export Council (FEC) of Egypt will organize an international buyers mission during the international exhibition for food and beverages (Food Africa 2021), scheduled between December 12 and 14 in Cairo.
This is a part of the Trade and Industry Ministry’s strategy to boost trade exchanges between Egypt and various world countries and promote investments.
Focused on food and agricultural industries, Food Africa expo is one of Africa’s largest trade exhibitions.
More than 400 international and local exhibitors from over 28 countries will participate at the exhibition.
Egypt’s food exports increased in the first nine months of 2021 by about 18 percent. In absolute terms, it works to US$3.1 billion, against US$2.6 billion registered in the same period of 2020.
