The LNG project in Cabo Delgado represents a significant milestone for the exploration of natural resources in Mozambique. Led by ExxonMobil and other partners, the initiative is at different stages of development, with substantial investments earmarked for infrastructure and gas extraction.
ExxonMobil’s President for Upstream, Dan Ammann, led a company delegation that met President of the Republic Daniel Chapo. The delegation reaffirmed its commitment to Mozambique and the liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Cabo Delgado.
According to a Presidency of the Republic statement sent to ‘O País’ Dan Ammann during the meeting highlighted the collaboration between the Mozambican government and international partners to advance the liquefied natural gas project in Cabo Delgado
The LNG project in Cabo Delgado represents a significant milestone for the exploration of natural resources in Mozambique. Led by ExxonMobil and other partners, the initiative is at different stages of development, with substantial investments earmarked for infrastructure and gas extraction. This is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, including the generation of direct and indirect jobs for the Mozambican population.
