Angola will hold its elections on August 24. The EU officials are waiting for the formalization of an invitation to be the observer. These electoral observation missions have the advantage of contributing to free and transparent electoral processes, the EU officials observed.
The National Electoral Commission said organizations interested in observing the poll exercise will be accredited once the list of political parties and coalitions participating in the election is confirmed. This decision has to be taken by the Constitutional Court.
