Ethiopian Ministry of Transport signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with DP World UAE for the development of the Berbera Corridor, a maritime gateway and hub. The signing of the MoU is preceded by the Ethiopian Transport Investment Summit 2021.
Ethiopia aims to diversify its port access facilities and services to improve its trade corridor access routes. The Berbera Corridor will have the potential to make Ethiopia a front runner in logistics operations, boosting the competitive advantage of delivering products
to the world.
