The 7th Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit & Challenge (AYTIS) will be held from June 10 to 13, 2025, in Nairobi, Kenya. This annual Pan-African event aims to support and empower young entrepreneurs and innovators in the tourism industry. AYTIS 2025 is a collaborative effort involving Africa Tourism Partners, TEAMS Africa, UNWTO, AfCFTA, the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife (Kenya), and the Kenya Tourism Board, ensuring a diverse program that addresses important industry challenges and opportunities.

A standout feature of the summit is the Innovation Challenge, which is currently accepting applications. This challenge aims to discover and support young African innovators—up to 35 years old, including postgraduate students—who are creating innovative solutions in sustainable tourism, youth empowerment, and technology. Participants will have access to mentorship, funding opportunities, and international exposure, helping them scale their projects and enhance the growth of Africa’s tourism sector. The submission deadline is February 28, 2025.

In addition to the Innovation Challenge, AYTIS 2025 will feature an engaging program that includes keynote speeches, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops.
