Sensing the massive demand, the Dubai-based Emirates is eying two daily A380 flights to the East African holiday destination from July. Currently, the airline is operating a daily flight using a 777-300ER.
Starting April 9th, the carrier will begin offering nine weekly flights using the Boeing 777 (one extra flight on Saturday and Sunday). From July 1st onwards, Emirates will move to a double daily service using the Airbus A 380. With 496 seats on each flight, the carrier will be offering far more capacity than its competitors.

Bookings for flights can be made now. Those looking to fly from Europe and North America could see better prices given the competitive nature of Mauritius, with all major connecting airlines offering flights as well.
Unvaccinated arrivals must quarantine for seven days upon arrival and take an on-arrival and day 7 test before being allowed to travel normally. Passengers under 18 are subject to the same rules as the adults they are traveling with and if alone, will be considered vaccinated for the purpose of entry.
