Elon Musk’s Starlink has authorized TD Africa, Nigeria’s technology distribution firm, to distribute Starlink kits in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

As the world’s largest satellite constellation using a low Earth orbit, Starlink, which is engineered and operated by SpaceX, delivers broadband Internet capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls, and more. SpaceX is leveraging its deep experience with both spacecraft and on-orbit operations to deploy the world’s most advanced broadband internet system.

In 2023, Starlink’s customer base rose to 2.3 million with a presence in over 70 countries. TD Africa, founded over 24 years ago, will distribute Starlink Internet Kits across Nigeria. It has over 27 global companies including Microsoft, IBM, Apple, Cisco, Hewlett Packard, Dell Technologies, Samsung, Huawei, Nokia, Lenovo, Asus, and many more. This agreement signals a new era for Internet access in Africa, with Starlink and TD Africa leading the charge in providing innovative and reliable solutions to meet the evolving needs of the digital economy.
