Sinai, the Egyptian state has added 450,000 feddans to the agricultural area, established 5 new industrial zones, and focused on tourism development

Sinai, the Egyptian state has added 450,000 feddans to the agricultural area, established 5 new industrial zones, and focused on tourism development. This was revealed by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli.

The Prime Minister added, during the line-up of the equipment participating in the implementation of the state plan for the development and reconstruction of Sinai, the state focused on economic development, in order to achieve real development and benefit from Sinai’s capabilities.

Madbouli pointed out that the focus has been on three main areas viz.  agriculture, land reclamation, industrial development, and tourism development. Sinai has many arable areas that can be cultivated.  But the challenge was to provide water to cultivate these lands.
