Egypt is currently seeking to increase its exports to international markets, particularly Africa’s markets. A clear plan is on the anvil to penetrate into these destinations to market Egyptian products and commodities.
The commercial chain launched by the Egyptian private sector with support from the government is aimed at facilitating the export of goods from Egypt and harnessing the Egyptian commercial offices in Africa. The investments of the Egyptian commercial chain will reach L.E. 500 million as a first stage. By the end of 2025, Egypt will have 22 branches of its commercial chain in six African countries.

Importantly, Egypt opened four branches of its commercial chain in Zambia and a branch in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for the first time.
