At the Santa Rosa market, the delegation members held several meetings with leading importers of food products. The delegation reckoned that there were opportunities for Egypt to export fresh vegetables to Brazil. The delegation also visited the CEAGESP market in Sao Paulo, the largest wholesale food market for fresh vegetables in Latin America. Some Egyptian companies are already operating at CEAGESP, the third-largest wholesale market in the world, especially in the fresh orange sector.
