Egypt’s exports of liquefied natural gas registered 4.86 million tons in the first nine months of 2022, compared to 4.35 million tons during the same period in the previous year, This was revealed by the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
The country’s liquefied natural gas exports rose 35.7 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2022, recording an increase of 1.9 million tons.

Turkey topped the list of countries importing Egypt’s liquefied natural gas. It bought 22 percent of the total exports, followed by Spain (13 percent) and South Korea (10 percent).
