 Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib arrived in Madrid Yesterday (Sunday) for a high-level visit to deepen economic relations between Egypt and Spain. Meeting with senior officials, business leaders, and key members of Spanish business federations to promote investment opportunities and expand bilateral trade prominently figures in his busy schedule.

The visit will highlight Egypt’s economic policies and the competitive advantages of its investment in Egypt. El-Khatib will also discuss strategies to enhance joint investments and facilitate foreign trade operations, aimed at attracting international investors.

The minister will hold meetings with executives from major Spanish companies operating in energy, hospitality, hydrogen production, ready-made garments, engineering industries, infrastructure, healthcare, and aviation.

El-Khatib is set to engage with members of the Spanish Hydrogen Association, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce Federation, and the Egypt-Spain Business Council. He will also meet with members of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations to explore new avenues for economic cooperation between the two nations.
