Under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Engineering Exports Council launched  recently HATS Egypt Exhibition, the first and only Exhibition in Egypt and the Middle East  focusing on home appliances, kitchen & tableware and hotel equipment.

Over 70 international buyers from 26 countries participated in the exhibition. Thirty-six Egyptian companies have participated  in the exhibition, which also had a series of  B2B matchmaking meetings. The exhibition helped Egyptian companies to explore more markets in Africa, Europe and the Gulf Region. The participants were also taken to visit factories, where the products are being manufactured. The exhibition is a part of the efforts of the government to boost Egyptian exports to US$100 billion.

The engineering industries’ sector is one of the most important and productive sectors in the national economy.   It  caters to the local and exporting markets. The exhibition was aimed to help Egyptian manufacturers and exporters to increase their exports, find new export opportunities and enter different markets. HATS Egypt 2021 was in partnership with The United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
