Egypt’s exports of strawberries represented 2% of the quantum of Egyptian exports and 6 % of the value of exports.  Egypt’s agricultural exports of vegetables and fruits during the 6 months from September 2023 to February 2024 amounted to about 2.82 million tons, worth about USD 2 billion.

Egypt is a big market for agricultural products, fruits and vegetables because it is endowed with the Nile River, fertile land and mild weather. Moreover, Egyptian crops are grown and monitored by the latest international regulations and European Standards. Egypt’s agricultural exports of vegetables and fruits, during the 6 months from September 2023 to February 2024, showed that the Northern African country exported 45 thousand tons of strawberries at a value of USD 129 million.
