The Prime Minister affirmed the state’s determination to continue strengthening key sectors such as agriculture and industry to promote sustainable economic growth and regional development.
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly conducted a field tour in Qalyubeya on Saturday to inspect a series of ongoing development and service projects across multiple sectors, including housing, education, health, and industry.
Madbouly said this visit, his second to the governorate within a week, reflects the government’s firm commitment to closely monitor the implementation of projects aimed at improving public services and driving comprehensive development across Egypt.
He highlighted Qalyubeya’s strategic importance as both an agricultural and industrial hub within Greater Cairo, known for its rich agricultural output and prominent industrial zones. The Prime Minister affirmed the state’s determination to continue strengthening key sectors such as agriculture and industry to promote sustainable economic growth and regional development.
Madbouly explained that such field tours aim not only to follow up on progress but also to swiftly address any obstacles facing projects on the ground. He cited recent examples from his visit to Monufeya, where direct intervention expedited project completion to better serve citizens.

Madbouly’s visit also included an inspection of the urban development project for governorate capitals and major cities (DARA) in Qalyubeya, which falls under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.” The project aims to deliver 500,000 housing units nationwide to meet the needs of various income groups, while creating fully serviced and integrated communities with commercial and recreational facilities.
