The President emphasized the need to intensify and sustain governmental efforts to meet citizens’ needs across various sectors and bolster initiatives to drive economic growth and national income, thereby contributing to building a strong, investment-attractive economy.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi directed the importance of ensuring the timely payment of financial dues to companies contracted with the state in the petroleum and gas sector.

This directive was issued during a meeting with Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Hassan Abdullah, Minister of Finance, Ahmed Kouchouk, and Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi.

The official spokesperson for the Presidency, Mohamed El-Shinawy, stated that the meeting reviewed the government’s efforts to secure the country’s needs for petroleum products, including those required for development projects. It also discussed ensuring the necessary funding to maintain efficiency and sustainability within the sector.
