Egyptian national exports have increased in the recent period, with the total value reaching US$ 4.12 billion last February, compared to US$2.92 billion in February 2021, says the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
The Egyptian national exports recorded about a US$1.2 billion increase. The main items that have registered growth in exports included raw cotton, followed by the export of raw materials. Egypt’s exports of semi-manufactured goods aggregated to about US$ 796 million last February, compared to US$ 549 million in the same month in 2021.
The country also had a sizable quantum of exports of manufactured goods, amounting to US$1.75 billion last February as compared to US$1.4 billion in the same period in 2021.
