Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli attended the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between Telecom and the Supreme Council of University Hospitals on the cochlear implant initiative, which was held recently. The deal aims to help poor children to meet the cost of these electronic devices.
Cochlear implants are small electronic devices that electrically stimulate the cochlear nerve (nerve for hearing). The signing ceremony was attended by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour.
