Egypt to focus on technology application to move in value chain

·        Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Niven Gamea underscored the need for technology and its applications for achieving economic growth and going ahead with projects and online sales, to help people to come out of the impact of pandemic

·        While launching the “digital future initiative” organized by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce in cooperation with Microsoft and Fiber Misr Systems companies, the minister called for intensifying technological applications

Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Niven Gamea underscored the need for technology and its applications for achieving economic growth and going ahead with projects and online sales, to help people to come out of the impact of pandemic.

While launching the “digital future initiative” organized by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce in cooperation with Microsoft and Fiber Misr Systems companies, the minister called for intensifying technological applications. It should be the effort of both government and private agencies to coordinate their activities to give the citizens access to technologies and to orient them to use for maximum societal  good.

The minister also said that digital transformation is critical for small and medium companies in Egypt to cope with modern technology to spread services via internet and technological applications.
