Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the conference of national initiative for smart green projects held recently.
The premier reviewed projects of participating companies at the conference. Based on that during the conference, the final results of winner projects were announced as to who would partake in the United Nations climate change conference (COP27), to be hosted by Egypt on Nov. 6-18 in Sharm El Sheikh. This is the first time an African country is hosting COP, which is billed as the most powerful platform to discuss climate-related projects and their investments.

Of late, Egypt is making strides towards implementing green projects which are environment friendly. Several European companies are investing in the North African country in such projects in the form of Eurobonds, channelizing huge investments.
