This can be executed concurrently with the current activities of the main alliance project with a capacity of 500 megawatts in the Gulf of Suez region by 2025. This came during the Cabinet’s meeting headed by Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly.
This will be under the same terms and prices of the original project agreements, utilizing a piece of land through usufruct adjacent to the project site to establish the mentioned additional capacity. The land falls within the area where wind studies and environmental assessments have been previously conducted by the alliance.
