Chairman of the Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council (CFEC) Khaled Abu el Makarem said that his council is currently preparing a strategy to increase Egypt’s exports of chemical materials and fertilizers from US$5.2 billion to US$6.5 billion in 2023.
The strategy comes as part of the government’s plan to increase Egypt’s exports of all products to US$100 billion.
The strategy focuses on identifying obstacles facing exporters and outlining mechanisms to solve them with a view to increasing the country’s growth rates.
