Madbouly said that Egypt’s Vision 2030 targets to improve quality of life for all citizens in rural and urban areas.  The country is establishing 30 new cities within the next four years at investment cost of nearly L.E. 700 billion, to accommodate 30 million people. The government is also trying to relocate citizens from unsafe residents to new housing units.

The country, he said, spent L.E. 220 billion to develop the railway facility, and has achieved surplus in its electricity production after investing more than L.E. 500 billion in the sector, said Madbouly.
