Egypt and the Czech Chamber to Get Engaged to Enhance Bilateral Trade and Investment

The ambassador stressed the importance of building on the current growth in trade volume between the two countries and maintaining the momentum through regular visits by business delegations, joint trade and investment events, and consistent promotion of investment opportunities.

Egypt’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Mahmoud Afifi, met with the President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, Zdeněk Zajíček, to discuss ways to boost trade exchange and create new export opportunities for Egyptian products in the Czech market. Afifi outlined the key steps taken by the Egyptian government to improve the investment climate and attract foreign capital.

He highlighted the availability of diverse investment opportunities across multiple sectors, supported by major national infrastructure projects and the establishment of specialised industrial zones, all contributing to facilitating both domestic and international trade.
