The second edition of the Egypt-Spain Multilateral Partnership seminar kicked off. Organized by ICEX Spain Export and Investment in collaboration with the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Cairo, the two-day seminar involves a number of Egyptian ministers along with the Spanish Secretary of State at the Spanish Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism Xiana Mendez
The second edition of the Egypt-Spain Multilateral Partnership seminar kicked off. Organized by ICEX Spain Export and Investment in collaboration with the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Cairo, the two-day seminar involves a number of Egyptian ministers along with the Spanish Secretary of State at the Spanish Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism Xiana Mendez. The latter is leading a high-level Spanish delegation on a visit to Cairo.
The seminar is designed to send a strong message from the Spanish government to assert its backing for the Egyptian economy and push forward economic and trade ties. The target of the seminar is companies operating in the fields of transport, railway, electricity, new and renewable energy as well as water and sanitary drainage.

Both sides are discussing a number of investment opportunities, especially in the fields of transport, energy, and water projects. Of late, Spain has started focussing on various countries in the region for investments and augmenting trading relations.
