Egypt and Germany signed a joint protocol recently to strengthen bilateral economic ties. The protocol was signed by Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar and Germany’s Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Altmaier.
“Small and medium-sized projects are the base of both the Egyptian and German economies, where the two countries aim to establish more low-budget projects to encourage youth to start their own projects,” the Egyptian minister said.
The protocol recognised the significance of cooperation in research and innovation, facilitating the participation of German companies in trade exhibitions in Egypt, mutual cooperation in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG), tourism etc.
