Egyptian economic operators active in the agri-food industry sector, together with their Algerian counterparts are hosting a B2B forum that could encourage the opening up of new prospects for partnership and cooperation in the commercial and industrial fields. The event, which is taking place in Algiers, is organized by the Egyptian Food Export Council (FEC). It is the Agri-Food Export Council, created under the aegis of the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry, bringing together the largest producing and exporting companies operating in this field.
Twenty-two Egyptian companies with expertise in the agri-food and packaging sectors will be present at the meeting, looking for new areas of trade with Algerian operators. Participants will benefit from expanding their supplier network, identifying investment opportunities, and learning about best practices and emerging trends in the agri-food and packaging market. The two-day forum will also see the participation of Egyptian and Algerian operators active in pharmaceutical and educational packaging as well as printing.
Representatives of associations, federations, and chambers of commerce will also be present on the first day of the forum, to jointly identify the objectives to be achieved, but also to establish contacts. The second day of this forum will be devoted to discussions and exchanges on potential areas of possible collaboration.
