A pre-election assessment mission from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) began its work this Monday in Côte d’Ivoire, marking an important step in the lead-up to the country’s presidential elections scheduled for October 2025. The delegation’s arrival occurs at a pivotal moment, just four months before Ivorian’s head to the polls.
The primary objective of this mission is to evaluate the current political and electoral landscape in the country.
