Monacosat highlighted the DRC’s strategic position in Central Africa, emphasizing the potential to generate economic value by offering satellite services to neighbouring countries.
The project’s primary objectives include improving access to ICT in health and education, digitizing public services, and covering rural areas. The initiative also addresses delays in the DRC’s national fiber backbone rollout, which requires nearly 50,000 kilometres of coverage.
