Djibouti organized a workshop to finalize and validate the public finance management reform strategy and the 2024-2027 action plan on 4th July at the capital   Djibouti City. It was organized under the aegis of the Ministry of the Budget and the Ministry of the Economy.

The discussions resulted in concrete suggestions for the implementation of the reform strategy and action plan for the period 2024-2027. The exchange of experiences enriched the work and guided the recommendations for more solid and transparent financial management.

Djibouti organized a workshop to finalize and validate the public finance management reform strategy and the 2024-2027 action plan on 4th July at the capital   Djibouti City. It was organized under the aegis of the Ministry of the Budget and the Ministry of the Economy.

This event brought together experts, policymakers, and key stakeholders to discuss directions for improving public financial management in the future. Participants examined the reforms needed to strengthen the transparency, efficiency, and sustainability of public finances, to migrate towards results- and performance-based management.

The closing session, chaired by the Secretaries General of the Ministry of the Budget and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, was marked by the commitment of the heads of the ministries to continue the work undertaken, conditioned by the contribution of development partners. The meeting also discussed the implementation strategy.
