Diageo Plc, the global liquor company, is out to a new game in Kenya and that is the promotion of innovation and digitization. As a part of it, the liquor behemoth will host the newly launched Africa Digital Hub in Kenya. This is meant to accelerate its digital transformation ambition. The hub will come up in EABL headquarters in Garden City Office Park, Nairobi. The facility will offer a shared service designed to deliver rapid digital capability deployment in Africa.
The Africa Digital Hub will serve Diageo’s key markets in Africa including Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Ghana, and is a testimony of Kenya’s prime position as a tech leader in Africa. Kenya’s mobile penetration and tech innovation are commendable.
