Decent Life Project of Egypt makes steady progress

·        Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development,  Hala El-Said that the Decent Life initiative, the national project initiated by the government for inclusive growth,  has participation from all state agencies and institutions, the private sector and civil society

·        The project, which entails a cost of more than LE 700 billion, covers sustainable development goals and will assess progress achieved in main  segments like poverty eradication,  creating employment , and improving quality of life

·         The investments in villages in the last three years have reached 1500%

Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development,  Hala El-Said that the Decent Life initiative, the national project initiated by the government for inclusive growth,  has participation from all state agencies and institutions, the private sector and civil society. The Ministry recently launched the project -Decent Life-for development of rural areas to converge with 14 sustainable development goals enshrined in the UN Charter of Sustainable Development (UN SDGs)

The project, which entails a cost of more than LE 700 billion, covers sustainable development goals and will assess progress achieved in main  segments like poverty eradication,  creating employment , and improving quality of life. The investments in villages in the last three years have   reached 1500%.

Decent Life Imitative lays a lot of importance to health, education, employment, inclusivity and equity, empowerment of women, toning up the provision of water and sanitation, clean energy and infrastructure growth.
