The creative sector in Nigeria is projected to add nearly 3 million jobs by 2025 and will bring in a revenue of US$100 million by 2030. The main components of the creative industry in the West African country are film, theatre, music, dance, literature, fashion, television, radio, arts, sports, information technology, media, advertising, and gaming.

Beyond these attributes to tap the resources from the creative industry, experts feel that a creative entrepreneur should have good knowledge about technology, and how to use it, leveraging that to reach out to the maximum number of people within and beyond the county.  Some of the indigenous creative artists lack this acumen, which results in marketing hiccups. The government has two challenges in this regard. Foremost is equipping the knowledge to access the technology relevant to them and second, empowering them to access it by extending them necessary credit.
