COVID 19 update

• The continent recorded 7,931,485 of confirmed cases of Covid-19 as on September 7.
• South Africa continues to report a maximum of 2,824,063 cases and 83,617 deaths.

The continent recorded 7,931,485 confirmed cases of Covid-19 as on September 7.  The vaccinations administered stood at 72,982,980 vaccinations. Fatalities in Africa reached 199,804. Almost 7,107,479 people have recovered.

 South Africa continues to report a maximum of 2,824,063 cases and 83,617 deaths followed by Morocco (886,008), Tunisia ( 675,191), Libya (316,797), Ethiopia (316,174), Egypt (290,395) and Kenya (240,430).
