A Chinese group is building a condominium with 6,000 flats on the outskirts of Maputo, a housing project for young people launched on Wednesday by the Mozambican president, valued at USD2 billion (€1,850 million).
Located next to the Costa do Sol neighbourhood, the project has already started to be built by the Chinese company Phoenix International Group, based in Hong Kong, as the result of a strategic partnership between the Government of Mozambique and the private sector, and should be completed in two and a half years.
