China’s leading defense equipment companies displayed their products at the 2024 Africa Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (AAD) and grabbed the spotlight in South Africa. Africa’s largest airshow kicked off at an air force base near Pretoria, South Africa’s administrative capital.

South African Defence Minister Angie Motshekga visited the exhibition and appreciated the sophistication of the displayed products.

The AAD is held biennially and this year show is open to the public on a single day and that is Saturday.
