The second edition of the International Forum and Expo on Mobility, Transport, and Logistics—known as LOGITERRE—is set to take place in Casablanca from October 16 to 18, 2025. This year’s event will be held under the banner “Connectivity: Towards a New Model of South-South Cooperation,” reflecting a growing focus on strengthening intra-African collaboration in transportation, logistics, and mobility infrastructure.

The official announcement was made on Wednesday during a press conference in Casablanca, organized jointly by the African Union of Transport and Logistics Organizations (UAOTL) and the Moroccan Association of Intercontinental Road Transport (AMTRI-MAROC). The forum is expected to bring together participants from over 40 African nations, positioning itself as a strategic platform for dialogue, policy exchange, and investment opportunities across the continent.

According to the organizers, LOGITERRE 2025 aims to solidify Morocco’s role as a continental bridge and logistics hub, connecting Africa not only internally but also to global markets. The forum will spotlight Morocco’s ambitious initiatives in infrastructure and regional connectivity, with a particular focus on the Royal Initiative for the development of the Atlantic façade. This initiative is a cornerstone of Morocco’s strategic vision to offer landlocked Sahel countries direct access to the Atlantic Ocean, while simultaneously reinforcing its status as a critical gateway for global trade.

Speaking to the Moroccan Press Agency (MAP), Mustapha Chaoune, President of UAOTL, emphasized the significance of Morocco’s selection as the host country. He noted that the decision was made by the organization’s executive board—representing 38 African nations—in recognition of Morocco’s leadership in modernizing transport and logistics infrastructures across the continent.

With its focus on sustainable mobility, regional integration, and public-private partnerships, the 2025 edition of LOGITERRE is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping Africa’s future transportation landscape, fostering investment, innovation, and cooperation under the South-South framework.
