President of Cape Verde Jose Maria Neves arrived in Angola for a state visit. It is his first visit abroad after becoming the president. José Maria Neves praised the way Angola has positioned itself in the Southern and Central Africa region and in Africa at large.
The visiting president also underscored the need for strengthening the links between Praia and Luanda, the two capital cities. The two countries will establish an air link between the two capitals. That route also will link other West African countries, Europe and the US.
The President of Cape Verde also added that his country would support Angola’s bid to enter ECOWAS as and when it decides to go for that.
