Cape Town International Airport has been recognized as the top airport in Africa, according to a recent survey by Skytrax, a leading consumer ratings organization.

Cape Town International Airport has experienced a slight drop in its global ranking, currently standing at 54th place, down from 23rd in 2020. This change highlights the dynamic nature of international air travel and the evolving standards in the aviation industry.

Other South African airports also received accolades in the survey, with Durban’s King Shaka International Airport taking the second spot and OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg claiming third place on the continental list.

Further north, Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport secured the 10th position, highlighting Kenya’s enduring role in African aviation. Nairobi continues to play a crucial role in connecting East Africa to the global air transport network.
