In Cameroon, ministers and party officials of the ruling party are now in open disagreement about the possible candidacy of President Paul Biya in the upcoming October elections. Some residents of the Central African country feel that what is happening is a lack of governance.
It’s an unprecedented situation for the party and is starting to raise questions about the CPDM’s legitimacy. Some feel that the ruling party is now on the verge of implosion. The party has failed to project a successor. There is division within the CPDM. According to the expert, political transition is now inevitable by October.
