· Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt and Governor of Egypt at the African Development Bank Group (AfDB), Tarek Amer, announced the unanimous approval of the Bank’s Board of Governors, to host the annual meetings of the Bank Group between May 22 and May 26, 2023 in Sharm Sheikh.
· Tarek Amer also referred to the strong strategic partnership with the Bank, which is based on joint cooperation to achieve the objectives of the sustainable development strategy for Egypt, enhancing depth and African cooperation, and sharpening the necessary financing for the development agenda of the continent

Ahmed Zayed, representative of Egypt and Djibouti on the board of directors of the African Development Bank, said that Egypt has succeeded in an unprecedented way in meeting and conforming to all the specifications and standards of the bank to host the annual meetings.
