Businessmen from Portuguese speaking countries of Africa such as Mozambique, Angola, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, São Tomé and Príncipe and Portugal are jointly exploring business opportunities at the second summit of the Business Confederation of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CE-CPLP). The Summit which started on March 16, will conclude on March 18, in São Tomé and Príncipe.
The event, organised by the CPLP Business Confederation will review the existing business opportunities in the CPLP community and examine how to step up the levels of exports within this market by showcasing business opportunities, resources and funding avenues.
The agenda of the three day Summit include blue economy, agriculture and food processing, innovative instruments to promote private investments and public-private partnerships, energy and infrastructure, the internationalisation of companies among others.
The CPLP consists of nine member states including Brazil, Angola, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, Sao Tome and Principe, and Timor-Leste.
